Keeping Busy While Impatiently Waiting...

So yesterday morning I had the pleasant experience of waking up before the sun did, in order to register for my 2013 Fall semester classes (registration started at 5:00am). The best part was that I woke up at 2:30am unable to fall back asleep because 1. my allergies are killing me and I couldn't breathe through my nose and 2. I was anxious about which classes I would be able to get into or not.

Luckily I have a great aunt who lives nearby, and last week I went over to her house and she showed me how to prepare as much as possible for registration! She has 3 kids and they have all gone through the college registration process, so I look at her as kind of a pro. She showed me how to use ratemyprofessor.com and how to have backup plans in case anything goes wrong!

What I did not expect was that I was only allowed to take a certain amount of foundations courses my first semester. I had already signed up for Book of Mormon, Science, and English, so when I went to sign up for Math I realized I couldn't because my limit was up. So I dropped my science class for my Math because, let's be honest, I want to get my math classes out of the way. I also signed up for General Psychology and Introduction to Visual Arts! My earliest class starts at 9:00am, and the latest I get out of class is 1:45! Even though I couldn't take my science class, I am extremely happy with my first semester schedule. A huge shout out to my aunt who helped me!!

The bad thing is, now that I am all set up and ready to go, waiting even more is literally killing me. I just want to pack all my things in my room and go to school. Perhaps this is the Lord's way of testing my patience, but regardless, it's still painful sitting around doing nothing---

Well, I guess I shouldn't say nothing. I have a few projects to do this summer to keep me busy when I'm not babysitting! Our family friends who live in Florida asked me to paint a picture of a sea turtle for their daughter, and they are willing to pay me for it as well! I feel so honored! And my cousin asked me to paint a picture of an elephant (her favorite animal) for her apartment at college. I'd so rather paint and babysit than have a real job this summer, so I'm a happy camper overall! (that is, when I'm not thinking about how long I have to wait to go to college).
